My Son’s Breakthrough

My son, is 15 years old, and we’ve just completed his first course of treatment. Given his age, we didn’t expect great results, but what we’ve seen so far is nothing short of a miracle. On the second day of treatment, he saw me and his father—really saw us. He stared at us, examining us as if for the first time. His understanding of spoken speech has improved, and now, when he doesn’t understand something, he tries to guess what we want instead of just walking away.

For the first time, he showed emotions—he even screamed out of frustration, but I could tell he cared. These are small but incredibly important changes, and I am filled with hope for his future. Thank you, Dr. Ken, for helping us reach this point.
